  13. So I got the i patch installed last week. Runs nice, fast, smoother it
  14. seems. My first real test? Importing a file from wordperfect5 for dos.
  15. The i version Fails this elementary test. This is on a very simple
  16. file, with no formatting beyond bold, strikeout, tabs and indents.
  17. None of the formatting was caught by 3i.

  19. One of the earliest patches of version 3 DID work correctly on
  20. importing WP4.1 (amiga) files, but that hasn't worked right for a year
  21. or so now, and the latest is no better. All the soft-returns in the
  22. file are thrown away instead of being replaced by spaces.
